5 Favorite Healthy Recipes

Today's post is about the 5 favorite healthy recipes that my family loved so much that the recipes have become part of our weekly shopping and cooking routine or our meal plan.

So sit down and review some of the ingredients listed in these recipes and if you and your family like the ingredients maybe these recipes can become part of your weekly meal plan too. All the recipes are quick, easy and healthy recipes so that makes prep time and ingredients costs not so prohibited for folks who might want to give something NEW a try.

As you know, if you've been reading my blog for any time, I firmly believe if you can truly find healthy meals that you don't mind making (not too complex or complicated) and are easy and taste GREAT then you will be well on your way to 'getting and living healthy and fit'.

  1. Evey,
I was looking for some healthy recipes & these look delicious. Your “Southwestern Quinoa Salad” & “Sweet Potato Beans & Greens” are the first I am going to try. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I make a similar quinoa salad that I love. I make a dill veggie soup that’s awesome as well. I just improvise with veggie stock, several kinds of beans and a ton of veggies with fresh dill. I’ll be trying your sweet potato recipe. Looks awesome!

    • Leanne, when I first tried that Sweet Potato and Bean recipe I thought, “No way will this taste good” but it was incredible. So delicious. I’m sure if you like the ingredients you will love the recipe.

  3. These look yummy! The quinoa salad and the baked eggs look the best. I will be trying these recipes very soon. Thank you for sharing. Now if Pinterest would start working, I would be able to pin them as well.

    • Keri, let me know when you’ve tried them what you think 🙂 I know what is going on with Pinterest? Tried to post this blog but …

  4. Drats…I’ve done it again. Visited your blog on a day that you have written about food LOL. I will avoid your Friday posts in the future.

I really do not fast often; however, I am fasting today and tomorrow. I definitely plan on trying the Sweet Potato Beans and Greens recipe. and perhaps the Southwestern Quinoa Salad (I have not yet found a quinoa recipe that I enjoy).

    Thanks for sharing these.
