I don't know about you but sometimes I just need a TREAT like these Skinny Chunky Monkey Cookies.

Don't they look delicious?

If you can find a HEALTHY and delicious cookie or cake or muffin that is easy to make and that you and the family love to eat then you will be well on your way to conquering this getting healthy and fit stuff.

I believe that for all meals too. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You have to experiment and try to FIND recipes that you WILL MAKE that you LOVE and that will solve the cravings and eating of certain crap foods.

So give this one a try.

Found this recipe will scrolling FB and it was written right in the post itself soooo...

Here it is:

Skinny Chunky Monkey Cookies

(makes 30 cookies)

Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
 
 
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mash bananas in a large bowl, then stir in remaining ingredients. Let batter stand approximately 20 minutes, then drop by teaspoon fuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
 
Nutritional Information (per cookie):
47 calories, 7.5 g carbs, 1.6 g fat, 1.5 g protein, 1.3 g fiber

I will tell you we loved this recipe. BUT I did screw up when making it. Totally forgot to let mix sit for 20 min and sooooo

Next time I make them I will put dark chocolate morsels in too. Not much but just enough to give this a little more kick.

    Evey, thanks for sharing this. I am not currently on Facebook, as I am taking a break. I love this recipe and might even take it one step further and use almond butter since my husband cannot have peanut butter.
