What are healthy habits?
Do you think there is much difference between a healthy habit and an unhealthy habit?
Couple questions you might want to ask yourself while thinking about this:What separates them? What makes them the same?
Often when training/coaching clients towards their health and fitness goals this topic will come up because it is DIFFICULT to continue to live with daily unhealthy routines and then get wholesome and fit.
So what has to be addressed?
Yes our DAILY HABITS or daily routines.
Some daily habits that are GOOD FOR your health.
PLAN your meals in advance.
PREPARE for your day with exercise scheduled and meals made.
FOLLOW THROUGH on your schedule even if you may not want to.
CONSISTENTLY plan, prepare and follow through.
How do we change from unhealthy to wholesome health habits?
PRACTICE not doing the unhealthy habits and in place of them practice and DO the positive habits.
So the easy answer is to PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE till you have replaced the unhealthy habits with the positive wholesome habits.
"Healthy habits are learned in the same way as unhealthy ones - through practice"
Replace the unwholesome behavior with a positive wholesome behavior that brings you closer to your fitness goals.
