Healthy dessert recipes: Baked Peaches
with honey and Greek yogurt!
I firmly believe that if folks can find enough variations of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts that have healthy ingredients and they truly LIKE/LOVE those meals, then they are well on their way to getting and living healthy and fit.
With these thoughts and beliefs in mind, I have often posted recipes that are consider easy, quick, healthy and delish so that YOU can give them a try and maybe, just maybe, you will LOVE them and start making them regularly for you and your family.
Sometimes I try recipes I run across and they end up tasting like crap and it is a NO-Go on becoming a part of our regular eating habits and that is OK.
This process of changing habits and redefining our days and our eating and exercise it is OK to step out and try stuff and sometimes it will be a winner and sometimes the recipe will be a DUD with no hope for becoming a part of our future.
Try NEW things, experiment, be willing to realize some will be winners and some will not and then just keep moving forward and doing it all over again.
GROW, CHANGE, BECOME! Better tomorrow than you are today.
So with the idea of healthy recipes today's Recipe FRIDAY is a healthy dessert recipes.
Baked Peaches with Honey and Greek yogurt
2 large ripe peaches
3 tbs Honey
1/3 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 c Greek yogurt
1. Cut peaches and take out core
2. Preheat oven 350 degrees - place peaches in for 30 min
3. Turn peaches 2-3 times
4. Mix honey and cinnamon
5. After taking peaches out of oven, drizzle honey/cinnamon on top and put a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.
6. DIG IN!
These came out FANTASTIC!
Even my kids ate them ALL UP. Loved them.
